PSEUDO-BIOGRAPHY
It's hard to write a biography when you're only in your twenties. It's like writing your memoirs when you're twelve - what's there to write about? "I'm a grad student and I read a lot of books! HUZZAH!" I'm just a wee Texan writing down what I know.

I was born in 1982, and we traveled extensively until I was five, even living in Saudi Arabia for several years. By the time I entered pre-school, I'd been to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, France, and Belgium.

I've attended schools in on line hidden object games to play Louisiana, Kansas, and zeta clear where to buy Texas, and my experiences in school were colored by the fact that I was a very bright child who eagerly taught herself and went above and beyond the standards. Have you ever known a kid (classmate, friend of a friend, neighbor's kid) who asked for extra homework? That was me. I'm sure my teachers still talk about that today.

I graduated from high school with a 3.2 GPA, being totally uninterested in high school work and eager to do something else. After a failed stint in the US Navy (it really, really didn't work out), I started college at the University of Houston in 2000, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors in Major in December of 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. I wrote an honors thesis on Washington Irving's use of satire in The Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. and how it differed from the satire he used in The History of New York by Diedrich Knickerbocker.

In 2005, I started on a Master in Liberal Arts degree at University of St. Thomas on Montrose here in Houston. After many shenanigans involving the literary magazine, Laurels, I graduated in December of 2007 with an MLA in English Literature. My graduate thesis was an analysis of John Donne's Holy Sonnets, the religious language and imagery he used, and what that can tell us, the readers, about any underlying Catholic or Protestant sentiments.

In January of 2008, I started on my second master's degree at UST, a Master of Science in Accounting, with the intent of focusing on education and/or library administration.

In the summer of 2008, I started stretching my ear lobes. I based my decision on the fact that it's something that is both aesthetically pleasing to me, and a way for me to wear unique jewelry.

I read approximately three books per week on a variety of subjects, both fiction and non. I have nearly 500 books in my personal library, and I have read most of them. Reading is my favorite leisure activity, followed by knitting, crochet, wood-crafting, and needlework.
